Madison Gate Records is the in-house, independent record label of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The label was founded in 2010 to create, distribute and market music assets and related products from today’s top films and television programs. Our releases include soundtracks for major motion pictures such as Annie, The Craft: Legacy, Fantasy Island, Goosebumps, Miracles from Heaven, Money Monster, Smurfs: The Lost Village and The Social Network.  Our television soundtracks include Better Call Saul, The Blacklist, Breaking Bad, Cobra Kai, For All Mankind, Outlander and Patsy & Loretta.

Madison Gate Records is the most recent in a long line of record companies affiliated with Columbia Pictures (now a part of Sony Pictures Entertainment), beginning with Colpix Records in 1958 and including the Colgems Records, Bell Records and Arista Records labels. The label takes its name from the Madison Avenue gated entrance to the Sony Pictures Lot in Culver City, CA.

Our releases have received several Grammy® nominations and three wins, including Best Compilation Soundtrack (Midnight In Paris), Best Score Soundtrack (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella (“Daft Punk” from PTX, Vol. II).
